Sparking the local revolution

This talk, from Personal Democracy Forum 2012 seems even more relevant today than it was several years ago, when I just started my term in office. This talk summarizes why and how I think we need to bring in a new generation of “unpoliticians” into our civic space – political leaders with greater capacity for independence in elections and in governance. The bottom line: we need more people committed to community, rather than career or party, running for office at the local level all over the country. Watch more below:
